I googled for 'proactive' a few weeks back and happened upon Steve's blog. The explanation of proactivity was so clear & crisp that I got interested to read more. Eventually I also found my way to Erin's blog, and now I'm hooked.
I've been interested in both personal development and spirituality for a number of years. I think it's all grounded in a curiosity of what the mind can achieve. I've been at it for many years now, and yet I feel more and more like a beginner.
It was 3-4 years ago that it really hit me that I wanted to make choices in my life that are good for me. Personal development has really become more of a focused activity for me since then. That's also about the time when I started to excercise more regularly. Today I run about 80-110 km/week (50-70 miles) and couldn't imagine life without it.
One of my biggest challenges in life is that I'm infinitely curious and impatient, and I'm struggling to keep myself from attempting to do everything at once ;-) Another challenge is that I want to travel to all countries and talk to all people before I die. And read all the books. I've been to some places, read some books and talked to a lot of people. Getting there...
I think of home as wherever I am at the moment, but my the location of my apartment is Sweden. (wonderful place, come and visit!) For another few days I count myself as being 34. Then again, age is just a number, no?
Why is polk my nick?
