 |  New to blogging but couldn't help myself
Hello to all of you! I just joined today & was told that I should "break the ice." I guess this is my ice-pick, no? Now I feel like I'm gobbling back one of those sodas with that crushed ice in it--you know what I mean--nothing like crushed ice! Nothing! Love your writing, Steve. The essay on why we should never hold a "job" was hilarious and true (the best kind of writing in my estimation). And I have some ideas about that--an idea for my own website--but I'll need to read more of your articles in order to figure out how to avoid eating dogfood while doing that. I guess that essay was the one that brought me here--so thanks for that. And I figure that anyone who makes it to this site must be my "people"--so here I am. I'm a little shaky about how to do this, so be patient with me--I know you will. |

| Hi Ginny, welcome aboard! I'm sure you'll find what a great group we have here. And, Steve's essay on "Why You Shouldn't Get A Job" was one of my favorites as well. I printed out the entire article and passed it along to family and friends. What type of blog will you be developing? |
