| Hey guys, I've been on these forums since day one, so it's a bit late for a personal introduction. However, I did want to use this opportunity to introduce the new design on my personal development site. After blogging for nearly a year, I went ahead and hired a designer (Nate Whitehill), to create a design that would make my content more legible, as well as attractive for readers. Let me know what you think about the design, and the site in general. I welcome all constructive criticism.

1) I think the site is ulgy and too cluttered. Too many "wizzardy" things on the front page. 2) The adsense stands out too much. Here: Alex Shalman . com » Blog Archive » Seven Questions That Will Change Your Life, the adsense is white and the background of the text is gray. I'd put both in the same color. 3) Why have the Bookmark to: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() at the end of each article exertp on the front page? Why bookmark the article if you haven't read it yet - I'd only put that on the actual article pages. That's it for now, good luck! |

| Thanks for the feedback. I'm not sure if I would agree with your first statement, but I'll work out the details in the second two. Thank you.
