Blogging?

Hi all

I am new to this so i don't know if this is the right place to put it. I was not sure where to put this so i thought maybe here would be a start. What i want to know is should i blog? If so where do i start and what could i start. I do want to have a website one day but i don't how to go about and what to start with. Well for a few months now i have been learning Flash 8 and have be drawing a teddy bear or what i call it is a kolabear (that is how i want to spell it, strange maybe but i like it)

If you want to start blogging then starting out with something like blogger.com will get you started. You will want to upgrade to your own domain eventually so if you want to do it for more than just a hobby, but you can start out for free with a blogger account and its pretty easy to set up.

Thanks for that, yes i do. I have been thinking about doing something like for months now but only really decide to do some research now. I wanted to get some ideas first and i have come up with some but not sure if they will be a hit but i guess i can only try and hope for the best. Thanks again, Michael. I will look into it.

Well im back just had an idea. What do people think about a subject on my home country? I have noticed that some people don't even know where south africa is or what we are all about. Also there does not seem to be much of a presence of south african on the various forums i have come across. Feedback on this idea would be great.

I've just started my own blog at Typepad. If you need any help with getting starting, just let me know. I think your idea about writing about your hometown is a great one. I'd love to know more about South African culture. Are you near Johannesburg?

Thanks for that, i have signed up on livejournal. Well i live 5 hours plus from joburg in durban which is in natal. I think what i'll do is start with when i live and work my way out.
