Dooby is on a distinguished road
Lightbulb Hi everyone!

Hello there all,

I've been browsing the forums for a while, and thought I'd finally get a login, and post!

I've been following Eckart Tolle's "Power Of Now" path to spiritual development. I must say it's the most difficult thing I've done, but also the most rewarding.

One thing I've noticed - when you think you're doing really well, suddenly, a challenge arises to cause you to become unconscious again! Most interestingly, it's not always instant.

I found myself quite irritated by the end of the day on Friday, and I couldn't put my finger on what caused it. I was overreacting to certain annoyances at work (which I haven't done for quite some time now).

I wondered what could've caused my sudden annoyance. Then I realised - I have a noisy neighbour (in fact, not that noisy, but my ego thinks it is). Non-acceptance of this fact must've enhanced my sense of ego, and the residual annoyance intensified the pain-body, and contributed to my unconsciousness.

Does anyone else have such a story?
