Please give opinions and feel free to reproduce in whole as long as it's not claimed as your own. Science tells us of global warming and acid rain in the environment. Those dirty chemicals compounds from our factories, cars and hibba-doogers. But, how much do we trust our science? I mean, can't water be a resilient molecule? All that H20 digging up our arongo-tangs-tangs-tangs(echo as you please)? Definitely. If we really trusted our science this much, could then we also trust our ENvironmental Science just as much? If we do, then we better start working on new innovations. Otherwise, the exponential formula tells us of dire consequences up ahead. At our current rate of consumption, the GDP remains strong. However, we are heavily dependent on foreign oil. It is imported from Canada, South America, the Middle East and all around us. Unfortunately, this oil won't last forever. There are generous estimates that say 2,100 until the oil runs out, but would we really like to leave this planet like a trailer dump scattered in every single microchasm on Earth? Our own children stuck in this dump with perhaps little time to plan these innovations? Who knows, for only time can tell. There is something that we can do right now! And that is what we do best; collaborate and innovate. For greatest physists and mathmaticians with the help and funding of innovative companies may come together for alternative energy sources. We should choose the soft path with great innovation for both sides of our lives; our technology and our environment. Imagine what we could do with clean, wasteless fuel - anything. Standard of living can go up - for every single nation on our planet. For in tough crisis, comes challenges and we must guard this technology with our hearts and souls, for what if we develop something accidentally destructive instead? Fear only if you do not trust science. |
