Good Day! My name is Walls and I live over in Europe. I've been reviewing and reading some of the excellent threads I've found here and am impressed and intriguied, naturally. However, there is so much of interest, a person may not know what would be the best place to start from. Where, in your opinion, does a new poster start work on himself first? |

Hi, I start the day looking at the posts. I then alternate between what I am trying to learn (currently: nutrition/healthy eating), I then invest some time creating threads or adding to those where I have direct experience. peace, Joe |

Dear Joelyle, many thanks for taking the time to post! I should have been clearer, in that I was asking in what area of personal development I should concentration on first. Dear Zukin, many thanks to you also for posting, it increases the confidence of us first time posters! I'm going to have a review of the twelve areas mentioned and see if there is any wisdom that can be obtained. |

Hi, Where to start is a personal question. I started by researching the question: how to deal with a diffult mother; Google returned Steve Pavlina's web-page. It's been an incredible time of growth for me. The greatest influences for me have been reading the Power of Now, New Earth (Eckhart Tolle) and I AM THAT (Nisargaddata). So, me emotional issues were most important. I have bettered life in other ways; currently in the way of diet. The wonder is that when we concentrate on BEING instead of having/doing/thinking: things happen all by themself. I love it. |

| The first and only place to start is with yourself - knowing who you are and what you value. Until you establish that, you will be all over the place.
