Introducing myself

Hello, my name is Mike Payne and I recently graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Security. I am currently working in a job that, as a computer geek, technology enthusiast, and forward-looking individual, I find particularly unpleasant - I count physical inventory for various businesses, including grocery stores, clothing stores, and drug stores. I am actually surprised that the company I work for is still in business, as I would have thought automated inventory systems would have taken over by now.
As you can probably tell by now, I am very passionate about technology, and using technology to improve peoples' lives. I also have a variety of other interests, including role-playing games, music, poetry, literature, movies, anime/manga, religion, and ancient history.
I have wanted to set up a revenue-generating blog for some time now, but after discovering this site, I have finally found a reason why.
