| well i am new to posting on this site but i have been reading Steve's blogs for about two weeks. During this period i have been developing my own web community. all i can say Steve blog's have been very motivating. I guess i can start with a little about myself. I am 25 years old. about 3 years ago i went through a rough time during my senior year in college. I dropped out and slipped into a dark time. after awhile being down on myself got old. it was hard for me to accept that being upset about the past wont change to much of anything (about year and half) I started reading self help books, first was dianetics...even finished it but realized i had to convert to a religion an alien religion. next was book that just pop out at me. lazy millionaire by joe karbo. which was a sweet book. changed my life. especially the second time i read it. then i saw what the @#@% do we know. next the secret (pre-larry king and oprah). then i read 4 hour work week by tim ferris. (squeeze in there "introduction to NLP by O'connor and Seymour)and finally a friend told me about steve's site long story short all these books and video and websites had the same message of personal discovery and finding self purpose will lead to happiness. So a couple of credit card bills latter i started my own web community which hopefully will launch later tonight or tomorrow (web hosting got to love it). its called worrystop.com only way I can describe it as community as a whole with a goal of solving each others issues or "worries" based on experiences other member have. I designed it in mind with the site being focused truly helping people. anyway i will be posting here and of course my site when it launches thanks for reading -douglas |
