Hello everyone, I have just signed up with this Forum and am finding all the info a bit overwhelming. Where should I start? I'll tell you what brought me here in the first place ... I am stuck in a life that I don't totally hate but would love to see changes in. One of the Forums says something like: "What have you manifested lately?" - I laughed when reading that because I am feeling like I am only manifesting some nasty stuff LOL Well they are probably lessons that I need to learn but please I'm done, I get it, really, please no more negativity! I couldn't believe it when my husband called me at work to say we only had $5 dollars left in our account until next Friday (that was more than a week away) when he would get paid. But instead of freaking out I said, it's ok I have some Avon money (maybe $150) coming to me from clients that we can use until you get paid. Why is this happening? I can't seem to figure out how to start bringing abundance into our lives. I am a step by step kind of person and would rather have some concrete advice if possible. Thank you and may your lives be full of laughter, love and light. Claire |

Very glad that you decided to join and hope that you like it here... I can fully understand that joining a new group can be a bit overwhelming... but it won't be long when you feel right at home... this is a very nice site and you won't see any flaming wars here... I'll be looking forward to reading your posts and hopefully to share, learn and grow with you... Have a very nice stay... and post away... BTW - I'm French Canadian... and since you teach French, thought you'd like to know... . |

Hi Morningstar, I'll give you advice from both a "concrete" perspective and a Law of Attraction perspective. This article is specifically about getting out of debt, but it is a good introduction to personal finance overall, and you may enjoy some of the other articles on the site: Get Rich Slowly - How to Get Out of Debt From a LoA perspective, Steve's article "Creative Observation" is good: http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/200...e-observation/ |

While the first url sent back a server error - I'lll try again later - the second was great. I feel the need to read, digest, and read again before I can formulate my own strategy. I will definitley give it all a try. Peace |

Hello - newbie browsing here....as you are mentioning 'manifesting' and 'strategy' I thought I would also direct you to an interesting resource you may not know about: Human Design It is a mix of things like Astrology/I ching/ The Kabbalah and the chakra systems. As I understand it all humans fall into 4 types (with 1 sub-set) and altho there is all this propaganda out there for us all to be Manifestors HD strangely discovered that only 8% of the population ARE true Manifestors.....each type has a strategy. If you are trying to live a Manifestor strategy and you are a Generator or a Projector you will be frustrated or bitter....anyway you can check it out if you google 'Human Design'......there is loads of free info out there ! Hope this helps ! |

Hi Morningstar, I'm new to this forum too so I'm learning too. I think you're already on the right track to improving your life. You've already joined a personal development forum, looked for a solution to the immediate problem (Avon money), and asked for guidance when you needed some. I'm a school counselor and former librarian, so if my lingo seems a bit "counselorish", that's why. When working with my students (and myself too), I always encourage them to examine the things that are already working for them or that they already do well in order to find solutions to what's bothering them now. Keep focusing on your success and I know you'll break through. |
