I had a dream a couple of nights ago that I was at a seminar in what looked like to be a hotel/casino. Steve was holding a workshop in this hotel suite and one of the projects he did was to have everyone make brown rice to show our effectivness. I couldn't do it though after many attempts so Steve gives me a guitar and tells me to perform "Every Rose Has It's Thorns" by Poison in the main hotel lobby. After I perform the song, I go outside to find Steve and a group of people standing around. I ask Steve what the purpose of that was and he told me that in order to accomplish big goals like starting a career, or getting rich, he said that I must break them down into small steps like I did with learning the guitar. I woke up shortly after that and was just taken away that it was all a dream. For one thing, I think my mind did a good job creating you Steve. You looked liek you did in your online picture only with a little longer hair and you sounded like you did in the podcast. I never met you before, so its amazing that my mind just created you even though I've never seen you in the flesh. I apologize for the length, I just thought it was an interesting experience. |

Dive Bomb! That dream could be the breakthrough that you needed to strike it big time... Sometimes a small but specific distinction can make all the difference in the world in the final outcome... Hold on to that thought and to that dream... it could just be the key that you were looking for... The very best of luck to you... . |

I agree with Shamou. In your shoes, I would analyze all of the other symbols in this dream in detail. Everything has a meaning. The seminar, the hotel/casino, the fact that Steve (why Steve?) was holding a workshop (apparently among other workshops) and so on and so forth. I can't help but giggle at the exercise of making brown rice, especially considering how this has already been brought up in these forums. It seems like what Steve tells you could be very useful information for you, but understanding the other symbols might bring you even more insight, so I'd consider exploring them further. By the way, if Steve is now giving dream seminars, I think we could really use an announcement in these forums, we need to know in advance so that we can all make plans, right? Not to mention, being in Brazil this would make it much easier for me to attend! |

I am fascinated by dreams, by their symbology, by how much we can learn from and about ourselves through our dreams. However, if we did such an experiment and ended up with matching dreams, then I would be freaked out! ps: link to another thread about dreams with Erin (and Steve too).

I find it far more likely that they are trying to help themselves, and using you as the template to advise themselves. The subconscious/higher-self/etc knows that since they have you pegged as an authority figure in their mind, then they'll "wake up" and pay attention to the message. On the other hand -- I do think you're up to, and having much more of, an impact than you may be directly aware. I only say this because the "other" side is starting to take real note. :-)

I used to dream that we were visiting with Tony Robbins all the time. It was like 10 years ago but I kept having dreams that we were friends with Tony, like close enough to call him up anytime and have a chat. He used to impart wisdom in the dreams too, just like steve and I seem to do now in people's dreams. It's fascinating.

I agree with Patricia -- it would be fun to meet for a dream seminar, as long as we can pay with our dream credit card! What do you think, Erin and Steve? Hold a Pavlina Dream Forum one night, invite anyone who can make it, and post what happens the next day? Maybe you could announce a "topic" or intention to create. It could be very interesting. |

As we're spread out all over the world time zones, we could set a 24 hour dream forum period, and ask our dream minds to do the work of synching up, regardless of our sleep time. Let our unconsciousnesses do the work of sorting out whatever synchronization is necessary. Maybe, Erin, you could hang a big, colorful "You Are Here" sign over your bed, make it easy for us to "see" the directions to this meet-up! You should probably wear pajamas. |
