| It's writing where everyone joins in. One person writes a few sentences and then someone else continues. Anyone want to start a plot?

| I'm not creative like that. Oh, wait. Just a few a sentences? I'll find something from one of my old stories. The island of Narmokan lay dormant in the tomb of winter, midway between the solstice and the approach of Spring. The Darker Forest slept the deepest, untouched by the faintest feeling of sunlight, save for a bare three hours when the sun loomed directly overhead. Karone stormed through with a fervor that could thaw the arctic, to say nothing of the Darker Forest, had he not channeled it so wholly into his appointed prey. This fervor, he told himself, was the only thing keeping him alive. He could not die until the debt was repaid, and the last drop of blood was drained from the body of he who owed him. More than a few, but I couldn't shorten it anymore without compromising the quality. |

| Slowly, the Darker Forest gave way to the windswept coastal trees of the island, and then suddenly Karone was standing at the edge of land, looking out on the vast, frozen ocean. He knew, just like his prey, that to venture out on to that desolate ice sheet was almost certain death, but there was no mistaking where the tracks he was following led.

| There was only a light dusting of fresh powdery snow in the tracks. Two days before, he knew that there had been heavy snowfall, so his prey did not have that large a head start. Karone scanned the sky and the horizon in all directions. Aside from a slight haze to the south, the sky was clear of clouds. He had perhaps a day before the weather would change for the worst, obliterating the tracks, and freezing anybody unlucky enough to be caught without shelter. |

| Dispite hid current predicament, he had to get back to the village; they'ren't going to send help, it was against their policy to find a tribe member. They need to be able to find themselves out of trechory (I think I spelled that incorrectly) or be condemned to a life of it. The oceans wide expanse could be a worse pain than the forest to cross, and a hell to fall through. Though he did not know where he was or how he got there, he would have to build a vessel to carry himself to his home.
