| Well, We have posted pictures of ourselves, commented on how good looking we all are....!! Bless!! So I thought I would start another wee thread that would allow us to reveal a wee bit more about us that all chat away here. I'm sitting comfortably so I'll begin. My name is Gordon (that's real, not a screen name), I live in the beautiful city of Edinburgh and I am 41 years old. I live with my other half who is midwife (a senior one at that), we have a three year old boy...who is the apple of my eye. I run three small business, all of which operate all over Scotland, a training company, a business process management consultancy, and a brand new business networking organisation. I enjoy this forum...(becoming slightly addicited to it), rare malt whiskies, rising early in the morning, playing guitar, sudoku, and various simple pleasures...when i get the chance. I'll reveal more later.....mmmmm G |

| Well I said my live is an open book so I'd better read some of it then..) I am called Nico very often, because that's my name. Well, not "Nico very often", but just Nico, no not "just Nico" but just "Nico". Aaanyway.. A 26 year old dutch guy and a a geek at heart. I like to think about things, sometimes a bit too much perhaps heh. I like philosophy and of course personal development. As for the geek part, I'm an open source kinda guy. I've got 5 pc's running Linux or BSD and a Mac iBook which I love, and I use apps like vi (which is better than Emacs, but everybody knows that..) , OpenOffice and the Gimp. Today I recieved the book "A Short History of Nearly Everything" by Bill Bryson which I'm very anxious about to start reading, but first I'll finish "Dune - God emperor" by, who else, Frank Herbert. Also I've met this wonderful woman who is also a little geek and her voice is like, uhhm, something really nice heh.

| My name is Gabriel Blast-Furnace and I was born just beyond the realms of possibility in filing cabinet at the Ministry of Defence in London's Whitehall. I am married to a gorgeous Art Deco table lamp and in my spare time I enjoy painting horses. They don't seem to like it very much and the RSPCA have taken out an injunction me. I am on the board of directors of the Milk Marketing Board and am about to embark on an expedition to be the first person climb the North face of my living room floor. Contrary to popular opinion I am NOT realated to either Bernard Halitosis or Lady Natalie Barbiturate-Smythe though we did all go on the same Outward Bound Course together. Some say I'm a dead ringer for Mr Potato Head but that's purely coincidental. You can read the biography of the other side of my split personality here.

| My name is Philip Nelson, I am 16 and I live in Halifax, West Yorkshire, I am in the process of completeing my GCSE's. I am currently seeing a girl, we've only been out once but we talked for 3 hours straight so that was good. And I am a very controversial person. I am very interested in finding the truth of things. Regardless of what happens. The Truth is paramount. If you asked what my religion was I would do a Pavlina and just stare at you blankly. It is my belief that to Know the truth, you must release your grip on everything. Then the Truth becomes clear. To fight well. You must first fight out of choice. Not out of gain. To me, the well worn path is worthless in that it offers no new experiences. and thats a little look into the way I think...! |

| Maybe I even revealed too much of myself by saying that I don't like revealing myself very much? Btw I would think that it's typically guys who don't like to reveal themselves very much but then again maybe it's just me. |
