| Hopefully this thread will get back to what it started out at....a little revelation about us all. (I know, I know, I was as guilty at all the hilarity)....G I'll begin (again).... I came accross this photo....it just reminded me why we enjoy living here....It was taken about 18 months ago, early in the morning.....the view outside out window overlooks a park and up towards a hill in the middle of the city, it's called Arthur's Seat. I never tire of the view....and its a great place to site, with a nice coffee and watch the sun come and the road below come to life....and gather your thoughts....(it's also where I work from sometimes...at home) ![]() Enjoy the view. | Ahh, Arthur's seat I know it well... Well, I've been there anyway. About 15 years ago I went up to Edinburgh to see a girl I was mad on at the time and we went for a walk up there. A few months previously I left a single red rose on her desk at work with a poem on Valentine's Day. The poem had a coded message about where I worked in the building and she came to find me. We started a friendship rather than a relationship though I remained ever hopeful. A few months later she moved back to her native Edinburgh and I made one last plea to get with her but to no avail. I was prepared to give up everything and move up there which I think freaked her out a bit. I went home brokenhearted. We exchanged letters for a while but when I went back up there about three years later on holiday I thought I'd drop in but she'd moved away. Clearly she's gone into hiding - It's OK Fiona, I can take a hint. Gorgeous pic BTW, Gordon!
