We are having our anual party here for the summer, this birthday party is for both daughter as their b-days are the same day.... and this year we are throwing in hubbys b-day to ages of guests range from 22- 56 music is all types, swimming, camp fire , volleyball and games I was wondering if anyone had any games they could recomend.... last year I wrote a few movie trivia/ music trivia/ political trivia questions , and handed out little prizes, but the ages of the guests vary so much that it is too much work to think up or research the questions I was looking for something simple around the campfire thx guys :-) |

You can produce a story. everyone gets to say a sentence that follows up to the sentence before. I think that is maybe fun to do. like pers1. Sally and mcguyver packed their stuff and got in the car. pers2. Once they arrived in disneyland everyhing went wrong. pers3. Mickey was drunk and Donald Duck was nowhere to find. pers 4 ............ ......... .........

The most fun I ever had in a room full of funny people was playing what we call Dictionary. Here's the basic instructions: Fictionary - Wikipedia. It's really fun if you've got a lot of jokers and creative types. Kids in the mix makes it even more challenging - you'd be surprised at how crafty some of their definitions are. If you are looking for physical/active games it's not that though. I hope your party is fun (sounds like it)! Edit: Here's some more from the party games category on Wikipedia: Party Games

oh wow that sounds fun...... we have a ton of jokers at our family gathering, we also played this game arround the fire , where you have to kill off the players by a wink*... each person gets one card and you do not get to see each others card, Who ever gets the ace of spades, is the killer, he or she then has to kill off each one of us without anyone seeing you the killer do it if you are caught you have to have a jello shooter or shot of some type... ( how bad is that heheheeh) |

Yes, we've gotten so into it sometimes that we go on for hours. It can be pretty hilarious. Let me know if you give it a try. I think your game sounds interesting too. I am sure you could make Dictionary a drinking game if you are so inclined. I bet the definitions would get really interesting then!

[QUOTEI hope your party is fun (sounds like it)!][/QUOTE] Thx!! we have a good time, we tell the kids friends to pitch their tents in the backyard because no body is allowed to drive .... just my rule last year I remember having a couple of tequila shots with my 23 yr old son, then I remember teaching him my old disco moves ( he won't admit to that today of course) but we had a blast ..... I'm going to make a big cake with my lemon curd and raspberry puree centre, with italian buttercreme..... everyone likes it so I will serve that up |
