I think Steve is taking the server that runs this forum apart rite now as I type p.c. card by p.c. card to the memory , and then the hard drives . By the morring it will be a bare mother board , he will let it cool for a few days. It has been runnig for like since 2006 . I have fried many mother boards in that time . Then who knows . desert rat

You know I am just having fun , if you start pulling pc cards off a powered up system , you can fry ever thing . Not that I have ever done that . Some one some where might ,if I dont state that doing so can ruin stuff . Hal must of been using circuts other than are used in normal pc systems . desert rat

I did not rely think of Steve shutting down this site in quite that way , until you posted that pic. it does boggle the mind . I can remember the days of the bbs boards , late 80s maby . I could not have imagned at that time what the net has become today . So who knows where we are going . I can remember in an elec. mag .(1970s) a discription of how cell phones would be set up , at that time I thought to me self , that will never work , but they made it work , and now have the net , video , and in a few years , who knows .
