Freddy this system dosent like like your threads for some strange reason . None would come up . desert rat

Freddy made a post a few days ago asking who would get the last post , it would not come up , I made a new one . He makes one hear and another sec of the forum , nether will come up . This reminds me of the movie 2001 , when hal is being shut down . Dont do that Dave , I can fell my memory going , I can feel it Dave . I think Steve is pulling memory cards and hard drives as I type . desert rat

I haven't done anything that should cause a loss of functionality, nor have any threads been deleted. Can you explain what threads you're talking about? Are you sure the thread owner didn't just delete their own posts?

What do you mean when you say they don't come up?

There have been SEVERAL "Freddy's last post" (or something of the sort) on all boards. Clicking on the latest post icon send MY computer to "Explorer cannot display web page". I was seriously wondering if it was a virus or something. I base this on only two different threads, but it was enough to make me avoid his posts like the plague.

I just added my comment to the "Shutting down the forum post". Not sure why it would not load up on the threads I started. Sorry Steve for adding 4 post that won't load up on the board. Have a safe new year.:)

Wasn't anything you did. I checked the moderator logs, and it showed that Brutha had edited that thread twice. He something similar to another thread of Mounds which caused the same issues -- some kind of infinite redirect loop. I don't know if it was something he did or a glitch in VBulletin, but it's not something I've seen before.

I remembered editing Mounds thread because I was hoping to get some dialog that allows me to access the thread.

The only way how I finally accessed Mounds thread was by marking it via the "search post feature" and going to the merge dialog.

At the time "Freddy's last post" was created I didn't have any moderator rights and therefore couldn't edit it.

I'm not responsible for any of those threads not loading.

I see what happened. You're right. When I viewed the mod logs, I confused this thread with your edits to Mounds' last thread.

Looks like nobody touched that thread except freddy. Odd that these threads are coming out this way now.

Ok, I was able to retrieve freddy's final message from the database directly. He wrote:

And Freddy: my apologies for casting you in a bad light. I didn't know what else to think, in lieu of some of the behavior we've seen.

I very much apologise. I do not want you to leave here with undeserved ill-will nor do I wish that misunderstanding archived.
