Halfway - Index

The site is not ready for new members yet, as I have tons of work to do to clean up the Administrator board. I will announce when it is available for members to join.

There is absolutely NO REQUIREMENT for membership. ALL will be approved, and no one will be turned away. However, it will be YOUR lifeboat, and it will be up to each individual to help in cleaning it up and blessing it. As you will see, it's been through some tough battles.

My first move will be to create a Pavlina board so new members can have a familiar landing space in which to feel comfortable. I will need vollunteer moderators who in turn will need to quickly learn the board controls.

Vollunteers and member candidates may post their intentions on this thread.

Feel free to go there and snoop around now. If only a temporary shelter, it is nonetheless a place for you to group, and buys you some time.

It may well end up your home forum. It was for me, once :)

I am working to get the forum ready for new members by late tonight. I NEED IMMEDIATE VOLUNTEERS to join (I will process your membership manually) and help. PM me with your username preferrence, e-mail address and password.

royster 12-22-2011 09:51 PM

Anyone wanting to join may now try to do so. I set the registration on Instant. This means you should be allowed in as soon as you finish the registration process.

ALL ARE WELCOME. This includes PDforyou members, Halfpast members, and all who need a temporary place to land.

If you choose to use this opertunity to bicker, that's your choice. If you use this as a new beginning, great.

PM me if you have trouble registering.

the Halfway Changes

HalfPAST members are being encouraged to take a membership at HalfWAY (read on the forum news, Halfpasters) and in this way, we have a bridge for all...a connection to keep this community in some degree of communication. PDforyou-ers may get a membership at HalfWAY and thus some of the chain remains unbroken.

royster 12-23-2011 07:11 PM

Those who have electronically registered at either website need to PM me with the username they've registered: this will expedite the approval of your account, because it helps me sort through all the spam registrants...they are particularly bad on Halfway.

I remind all Pavlina members that everybody is welcome at Halfway, regardless of personal interests, except known trouble-makers and trolls. The site is provided free of charge, and may be used as a temporary lifeboat, or you may stay and set up shop there. Members are encouraged to start new threads and suggest new boards. As well, they are welcome to copy/paste non-copyrighted material from the Pavlina forums to post at Halfway. THERE IS NO MEMBER LIMIT AT HALFWAY. The site can accomodate several hundred members.

We are in need of moderators on Halfway.

Halfpast is the hybrid of the two sites, and a member limit of 150 has been set.

At present, I have cleared all registrant applications. You might need to re-register. In doing so, PLEASE PM me to inform me of your username. Thanks
