I was actually wondering that very thing.

I was also wondering if, perhaps, he used the LoA (or I/M, whichever) to visualize NOT getting banned, only to manifest actually getting banned, as visualization can't manifest what's not there to manifest.

But unless he can come back as a sock puppet, we may never know...

Maybe he had too much school work and couldn't stay away from this forum and left by asking to be banned.

I've heard the mods used to make temporary bans for like a month on request.

But last time I saw a request for a ban, I think it was left to the forum poster to use it as a lesson to control themselves instead of getting a temp ban time out granted.

Members can request for a vacation in that case, there is also the option of a "retired" account if members wish to quit for good.
