![]() I was wondering what that thing was. I'll bet the Area 51.3.5-ers have replacement parts if it ever goes bonkers. We're glad to have you here, nothuman."As above as Down Under" is one of our hastily-conceived mottoes. Our other mottoes are still in the works: our lawyers are concerned about copyright fringes. (They don't like dangly stuff).

The little fellers in area 51.31/2 and I have struck a bit of a deal I give em free use of the solar panel to charge their probe thingys and they allow me to go unprobed. Turns out they have a wicked sense of humor as they explained that there is no scientific value to the anal probings..... they just get a kick out of it. They also mix a wild margaritta.

DO be careful with any deals you make with them: they never DID deliver the Cfnistiklater I bartered for. (That's what they MAKE those margueritas with. It also inflates bicycle tires). Oh...wait...I never delivered their firewood. Well. That explains that.

Oh yes, Zkirggins told me in his native Uraniousian tongues about that "Who's On First?" thing. "Are there warts on Uranus?" "Of course there are." "What do you do to rid yourself of them?" "Rid ourselves of them? They're our Founding Fathers! THEY were on FIRST." "Warts were on first?" "Absolutely." |

Yes thats explains their total reverance for toads.......... Obama has told me stories of toad visitations to Uranus and how the toads kick started Uranian architecture and science.

Well, yes that's exactly right. This is SUPPOSED to be a "fun" thread, but you're inadvertantly started to expose some very deep secrets, and since you've HAD tea with Obama, then he probably TOLD you about the Uranus Conspiracy. It involves TOADS. And SOME toads have been placed in strategic places...like THIS FORUM. Except, they refer to themselves as FROGS of a wax-like consistancy. I...I can't tell you any more. I gotta....I GOTTA GO... bzzzzzzwaaaarrrble bwop dzzzzap no! please! | As I said earlier, Camp Royster IS a real place. I started it as a base for some major road-work I'm conducting here on the 14 acres where I live. The tents and tables were to accomodate equipment protection and worker comforts...a place to cook and eat, rest and enjoy a breather. I kept an ice chest full of sodas in real bottles for all visitors. My heavy equipment operator, Randy, has five grandchildren that were welcome to come and play in the creek. We had some cook outs there, a pizza party once, and this photo was snapped after I gave them "hay rides" behind the riding mower, in the green cart. The delivery driver for Lowe's LOVED making deliveries here because after he off-loaded my order, he could grab an ice-cold Coke and chat in the early morning sun, the campfire smoke wafting lazily through the trees. We kept adding stuff...including a hummingbird feeder...and whenever I got an idea for a silly sign, I made it and put it up. Many of the signs are not posted on the forums...one said "Wild animals MUST be accompanied by their wives". All visitors loved the signs, and it set the pace for a light-hearted atmosphere to work in. Floods and weather stopped all operations out there, and a sad death sort of took the wind out of our sails: the gravel deliver man, Dukie, died suddenly shortly after the 6th load of gravel. It's my hope that Pavlina members can have some fun with this thread. I certainly have enjoyed it so far...and my sincere thanks to those who have already participaterd. ~Roy [below: Dukie after one of his deliveries. He was highly respected in the Shenandoah Valley, and is sorely missed by us all.] Last edited by royster; 11-27-2011 at 04:17 PM. |
