Having witnessed on this and other forums that by installing the word masturbation into a thread topic imakes the thread worth about 700 posts. Moreover the use of the word ego rates at about 1000 posts. So conservatively a thread with the words masturbation and ego combined must at least attract ...say 1500 posts.

I suppose I had better instate some sort of inquiry just to make it look like a valid attempt.... so how about this : Is stroking my ego an act of masturbation? There that makes it legit.....

Well I thought about ur q... And I came up with the answer: Yes

Not sure if u were expecting more but the question was a yes no question.

So that's the wack for now from me.

Like ur avatar btw. Sensed some individualism according to my present perception of using an avatar like this when it connected with the certain parts of my awareness based on my current knowledge of self. I don't know if that was explained weirdly but it seemed necessary and perfect whilst typing right now after 6 beers. Oh well let's see how it goes.

Thoughts may be happening, but the act of masturbating distracts from noticing them.

Probably at the point of orgasm there would be no thought though.

And yes, stroking ones ego is an act of masturbation, to my mind anyway. That's a lot of public masturbation right there.

Its probably more a trance like state than anything. If it did create stillness you'd have Zen monks making daily trips to the laundramat.

OH no...I was referring to my habit of going off on tangents actually. I'm kinda known for derailing threads around here. It's a thing...

Have a look back at the OP E I think overall the topic was compromised from the get go. The general aim of the thread is to make it to 1500 posts.

Well, I just joined this forum and it seems what stands out, unfortunately, is just a post that is intent on causing a stir merely for the ratings! How crude can one be? I don't like the tone of the "in your face" attempt to get attention.

I'm outta here, I thought it was a nice place to join but it seems the "trollers" and spammers are everywhere.
