Default Today is the day I realized...

...I'm not 18 anymore. I hurt my knee doing a lunge (when I say A lunge, I seriously mean...one lunge and then the knee went) and so I curled up on the couch and watched Oprah in my snuggie and pink slippers...and THEN it dawned on me. OMG. I'm almost middle aged...and I'm like, super dooper ok with that! I'm surprised I've lived this long, to be honest. YAY!

So now I think imma break out the duck face avatar just cuz.

What did you realize today? LOL.

That there are LOADS of people who own salons willing to hire someone as a massage therapist, when they don't have any formal qualifications. (non-sexual).

Why did I wait so long to check out gumtree.com?

Momo: Awww, sorry about your knee! I hope you get well soon.

And yeah, I agree with Zephy: Great avatar! Are your eyes green, or is it just the lighting in that photo?

Anyway, I realized today that the governor of your state is a rather forgetful chap.

Thank you! I was making fun of duckfaces, in case you couldn't tell. My head hurt for about four hours after that from crossing my eyes, but I got lots of fun photos. I'll post "Duckface Stallone" next and then perhaps "Cuz I'm Gansta Like Dat Duckface" after that. I really have...no...life. LOL. There's me with makeup, btw, Zephy. Sorry, I forgot about that.

Awww! Thank you! It's ok, I like injuries because they get me out of housework.

Thanks again! I'm not exactly sure what color my eyes are. They are like a honeyish brownish with gold and green spots. Sometimes they just look light brown and sometimes they look green and sometimes one looks brown and one looks green. I think they're hazel. I don't know.

OMG...TELL ME ABOUT IT!!!! Geez...what's his name again?

I have been avoiding the news lately and quite honestly do not have the slightest idea what has been going on for the past few months. I did however manage to catch that...

All he had to say for him self was oops... heh...

I'm gonna call them hazel, because they're obviously nuts.

I'm hardly one to poke fun; one of my state's ex-governors has a scream named after him.

First of all, my eyes are legumes, not nuts. (<-----WARNING: Mo has a tendency to tell jokes she thinks are hilarious but are actually dumb as hell.)

Second of all (if it makes you feel any better), no state could ever be more ashamed than Texas after releasing GWB into the wild world of Presidency. GEEEEZ. WTF were we thinking? Maybe Bush and Dean should get together. OMG. Wouldn't that make frank and beans (dumb joke # TWO!!)?

HAHAHAHA HAHAHAHAAHA. Ok, folks, I'll be here all night!

Thank you! It didn't take long. Some blueberries and frozen yogurt seemed to make it ALL better, and although it wasn't exactly chocolate ice cream, I think it did it's job just fine.

I think we all have work to do on our egos, but at the same time ego is a sourcegiven part of human nature, so don't beat yourself up. Mine runs wild and naked through the streets at night, flashing poor innocent old men...and I think I'm ok with that.

...that just because it's cooked in a crockpot DOES NOT mean it won't burn!

Also, that I feel really happy and silly today, which is much better than the opposite, and I think I might keep this up.

LOL. Well, at least you gave us LBJ. Liberals may hate him for Vietnam, and conservatives may hate him for the Great Society, but to me he'll always be the president who staked his reputation on getting the Civil Rights Act passed.

Anyway, today is the day I realized that one of my favorite songs, Sympathique, is a Pink Martini song.

That makes me feel so much better. Still...what is it with Texans and wanting to blow things up?

I remember going down to the river junk yard with dad and his friend, learning how to make bombs, and then sticking them in old cars and watching them BLOW! LMAO. Oh...my dad taught me so much.

You can call it a cosmopolitan song if it makes you feel any better. Those are my favorite pinky martinis. And I've watched a grown man crawl across the room after 5 of them, so they're no lightweight fuel by any means!

Oh my goodness!! Please don't take offense, but I have to take a moment to laugh my ass off for just a second....

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA HAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

OK...whew. First of all, lol, I had no idea who Penny is because I don't watch much TV. LMAO! I've never even seen the Big Bang Theory! So tell NH he could've let that one slide and I would have NEVER known the difference!

Secondly, I just had a massive understanding of something. So thank you for that. LOL.

Thirdly, and most importantly, I think you are an incredibly sweet, nice, friendly, and VERY entertaining person (at LEAST on the forum ) and I am a little dingy and scattered brained at times, so I probably would have never picked up on an insult even if I had watched BBT. Plus I'm pretty good at taking a joke. So no biggie. Oh, I also like the love-in's quite well.

You don't have to worry about hurting my feelings, feel free to compare me to hot blondes in a TV show (GAHHH I just HATE it when people DO THAT! ), (this is where I insert underhanded guilt trip ------>)even if they may or may not be portrayed as particularly intelligent or easy to get along with! LOL! I just found that on WikiPedia, only source of understanding here.

So don't worry Miss Moriarty, I think you're the bees knees.
