I discovered on my wii that you can play with real people all around the world!

And there is a part that says you can play with selected "friends"

has anyone ever done this, ever played their wii with a friend on the other side of the world?

Who'd like to do this? ^-^

I know on line gaming is very popular , but it does not look like any other forum members are . Many games and game systems have forums of there own . You might do a search and see if there is a forum for the game you like. desert rat

I don't really play video games at all, but there is a wii in my house. I only have like 2 games but if one of them can be played online, I would play with you.

I played MarioKart with a friend on my facebook that I'd never even met! how cool is that!

I have Mariokart and super smash brothers, i am guessing they can be played by internet with others.

What games do you have?

I know but it's fun to play with people I know! As a way of connecting more even though we live far away.

I started playing video games in the mid 80s the Atari 2600 Atari 2600 - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia and I had a Coleco vision File:Coleco-vision-console.jpg - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The games came in a cartrage that pluged in. A p.c. game that I liked was Duke Nukem. I have heard that they have a version out now that will run on windows 7 , but I dont think it will run on Linux. desert rat

I checked and it doesn't look like any of the games I have can be played online.

Sadly, I currently don't own a Nintendo Wii for the moment otherwise I would have loved to as it does sound fun. I think I may have to save up for a Nintendo Wii.
