On 7/2/2011 I mesured 119 f , but that is not a unusual AZ summer. Today its 105 -109 f but as they say its a "dry heat " Its sounds strange when the t.v. guy interviews people at sky harbor in Phoenix saying " I will take this dry heat over the temp in the eastern U.S. " The humidity does make a difference. Arizona = arid zone desert rat
