Default New York New York

I'm on vacation right now and might be going into New York city on Saturday (7/23/11). Any recommendations on where to take a couple of kids (5 and 7) in the city? Anyone want to meet up for lunch?

Museum of natural history. You should be able to go in by donating whatever amount you want.

Yes the Museum of Natural History is a good one.The children's zoo at central park also Statue of Liberty. Also the Staten Island Ferry is free and they can see the sites from the boat ride. Of course there is 42nd street for souvenirs and "Toys r us" has an indoor Ferris wheel (but it can be a long wait). They have great places to eat from hot dogs to pizza to dining out. There is also free canoeing on the pier of the Hudson River along the board walk on 86 street to about 72th street. They take donations of any amount.

I wish I could meet you for lunch. I moved to VA a year ago but I sure do miss it. Have fun.
