I have really appreciated the contributions to this thread, bar none.

The fact that it has accellerated to 14 pages in less than 60 hours indicates an underlying need for many to vent about aspects of the forums themselves. I see this as healthy, and hope Steve does, too.

I have made it a rule-of-thumb to refrain from satirizing extremely sensitive issues, particularly since I respect my own issues...though I am able to laugh at myself (not everybody has that ability). I also refrain from posting about threads that have just started...though GOD some are so tempting. Admittedly, I started "Weiner Resigns" in order to have the title to spoof on. Little did I know that it was a topic that would take off.

The Pavlina forums are, first and foremost, a place for people to discuss even the silliest thoughts, and I respect it as such.

I have no intention to hurt anyone's feelings, and if I inadvertantly have done so, please forgive me.

Otherwise...in midnite's words: WHERE DO THESE PEOPLE COME FROM!?
