| I'm a pretty relaxed guy, but lately I've been experiencing this amazing feeling of total calmness, like nothing in the world matters except what's going on right here, right now. I'm just going at my own pace, doing whatever I want to do, and it's incredible. No stress, no anything. Like tomorrow, I'm going to go out into the woods for a few hours and write whatever comes to mind. No deadlines, no rigid schedules, just doing what I enjoy. I may even start writing books on effective relaxation techniques and living a life of complete relaxation. Just curious on how much other people value this. I'm into it so much I'm going to buy a hammock in the near future. Just something to use all the time. I guess I was kind of inspired by all the Lazy way to success stories and passionate people who say that if you are doing what you love, it's not work. But I feel like I must be on my spiritual path now because nothing seems difficult to me, it just comes to me. "In an easy and relaxed manner." Peace. |

| It's an awesome feeling isn't it? I've been living this way for close to six months now and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm in university right now, so I feel kind of odd because everyone else is getting massive stress or working like mad and here I am sitting calmly listening to music, going for walks around the city or whatever else tickles my fancy. Although it can be entertaining when people around me come over and 'give me a piece of their mind'. Lately I've been trying to help some of them calm down, especially the ones who are close to burning out. The downside to this state of mind is that I've missed a few minor assignment deadlines and things. This is simply because I don't feel the pressure to do it like everyone else. I love learning but I need to do it more on my own schedule. When I'm ready to learn something I absorb it really fast, but until then I just can't get myself to care. I guess to answer your question, living life in a relaxed and peaceful way is one of my highest values. It's a spectacular way to live and it gives me the freedom to do what I love most. |

| Just yesterday I took a nice, slow walk over the boulevard here. Walking next to the water, breathing the fresh air, walking slowly and mostly observing the birds (are geese and swans birds too?). I watched the water, felt the wind against my skin, and really relaxed, came to peace with myself. Watching those animals was amazing too actually, I'm looking at most of them as Zen masters now. I walked on in between the geese, who seemed to be pretty comfortable with me, since they didn't run away, and a bit further I crouched down for a while to watch two mice in a bush full of sparrows. A woman walking her dog came by and asked what I was looking at, she scared away pretty quickly when I told her..) Anyway, although this wasn't anything like the woods (man made structures and 'pollution' everywhere), I still came to be very calm and at peace with nature. If I were you I'd definetly spend more time there, it sounds wonderful. But does it have wireless internet?

| yep, that's definitely inspiring for me. I love being completely relaxed and I'd like to be more like you guys. I am not particularly stressed, I am even much more relaxed than the average people, but still sometimes I wish I was more peaceful and relaxed and confident. I've noticed that being in direct contact with nature is the most easy way to be relaxed, happy and connected to the present moment for me. Observing animals, trees, feeling the wind or swimming/surfing/playing with the ocean are the most relaxing things to me. |
