I see only two possibilities:

1) The kid's indifferent, which makes this child abuse

2) The kid's into SW, which would make the presence of all those both dead and non-contemporary characters traumatic - see part after comma above

That girl is an inspiring example to children worldwide. I would have done exactly the same if I were a kid in her place.
