The only rule is that they have to form a square pattern on the calendar (a square pattern where all four numbers are touching each other that is).

Add them up and then give me the total.

I will read your mind and tell you what your four numbers are given ONLY the total.

Take the following calendar page as an example:

The square pattern I'm talking about would be if I chose 18, 19, 25, and 26.

Actually, I was being a wiseass (as you should always anticipate); I used a month from the French Republican Calendar! You never once stated that I had to use the Julian calendar

Here's a hint for y'all. If I can't divide the number you give me by four, then I know that you're not actually giving me a total from a square pattern.

I think you also need to say they must be from one month only. Otherwise, I could give you 47, which technically is the sum of 4 numbers forming a square pattern on a modern calendar.
