The OP is too general a question. Some guys I've been with love bj's, some didn't care for them; some got off on it, some didn't. It's really down to the individual and his preferences, both psychological and physical.

Not for me it isn't.

A blowjob really isn't that enjoyable compared to sex. In my past relationships it has always served as foreplay and not as the final act.

Billy, the way I see it, any guy who won't reciprocate when I give him a bj is just being selfish and not likely to see me again. It's not being self aggrandizing so much as being considerate of one's partner.

But of course, it really comes back to what you're comfortable with. I had a partner once who didn't like to receive at all, which I found disappointing. He did like to give though, which I did enjoy. If both partners aren't interested with that sort of thing, it's nobody's loss.

I agree it's selfish. There are fair number of women who don't like to receive too, which I always find somewhat irritating. The part I was referring to specifically is this

Also, I don't assume to know what a woman wants. In my fairly limited experience, what some women love, another will hate. Boob sucking springs to mind.

Meh, I don't think so. If it's not on the menu, I wouldn't consider that guy the world's greatest lover. Oral would definitely have to be included, at least to some degree. Then again, I'm pretty much a multi-sensory partner who likes to do a wide variety of things, all in the same evening.

I agree I don't think I could be with a woman who didn't enjoy giving and receiving. I don't think I could be with a woman long term who didn't like anal (I'm kind of spoiled that way.) I'm just saying you can't make x=y type of ststements. There are no absolutes, what that saying? The only things certain in life are death and taxes.
