My folks got me these (or similar sets) on various 70s Christmases, fun fun fun!

That's cool, I went through a series Lego renaissances in my 20s, and also indulged a few LEGO Star Wars kits when they came out (my two loves combined, if only they'd had those when I was a kid!

Isn't Cracker Jack something? When my Dad was young, the toys were metal, when I was young, they were plastic, and now they're pretty much paper!

Here's a wonderful website for CJ collectables. I'm going to look around some more, because I'd love to find some of the prizes I remember as a kid. I have in my possession a magnifying glass from CJ's.

When you'd walk to your local farm to get your dairy. I have a far away memory of being a toddler proudly carrying a tin milk can in one hand and my great-grandma's hand in the other.

When poeple grew their own vegs (this is a fashion returning).

When NOBODY LOCKED THEIR FRONT DOOR AT NIGHT. This must be my favourite one
