  |  Lets interview Eckhart Tolle!
I don't know this is probably really stupid, I've been reading too much of Tolle today and so for some reason all of a sudden I just began cracking up after thinking of a comedy sketch with Oprah and Tolle. So I thought I would share it. Please participate with your own sketch/questions for Eckhart  _________________________________________________ Oprah: So Tolle, doesn't it sound like to be at one, is to do nothing. Tolle: Exactly, when you're in the moment, you do nothing, say nothing, think nothing, you are nothing. Oprah: But how does one function, if they do nothing? Tolle: It's simple, essentially you become a bum, a hobo, a wonderer in life. That is the essence of been "at one". Oprah: Ah ha, so let me get this straight, you're telling me to be a BUM? Tolle: Exactly, you got it. Bum = At one with the world. Honestly…. Oprah, how hard does it have to be? "Bum" equals one with the world, "bum" equals one the world, it's not rocket science…. it's oneness. |

Little Eckhart was at home when his father returned from work. Father: Hi Eckhart how is it going? Eckhart: Thank you, thank you, I'm fine, how about you? Father: Yep, I'm fine too. A bit stressed of the work today... Eckhart: ... Father: Are you starring the wall? Eckhart: Yes. Father: Were you starring the whole time I was at work? Eckhart: Yes. Father: What?! ehm, okay, but WHY the heck are you starring at it, it is like 9 hours ago. Eckhart: I'm one with wall, because the wall is me and I'm the wall. So it doesn't matter. Father: Oh boy what's wrong? so should i ask the wall why it is starring at you? Eckhart: You already asked it. Father: Argh, Eckhart, seriously! |
