Default Do you guys go to church on christmas??

Do you guys go to church on christmas?? I personally do not like going to church and sitting there for more than 2 hours. But my parents would still compel me

Yeah, it's tradition over here. The most exciting part about it is knowing that when you get home, it's dinner and then we open gifts a while after that.

Done that only twice in my life. Once when I was a child (i was playing a shepherd in the nativity). And once when I was 18 with the traditional Roman Catholic family of my then boyfriend. It was very boring and devoid of spiritual feelings... I passed the year after, and all the other years since.

However... I have put a nativity under the tree (three angels + Jesus). I want a "real" Christmas (= celebrating the "birth" of a great spiritual leader)(we can't know for sure about the date but that's irrelevant to me).

I'm in church 365 days a year.
Every day is Christmas.

Yeah; I guess so.
