John Berardi, Joe Dowdell, Alwyn Cosgrove, Mike Boyle, Mark Sisson -- all of them have passion for helping people, great companies, interesting, simple and clear writing/communication style, positivity/great personalities, and desire to be the best they can be/desire for continous education. I think having role models is great, especially if there is a lot of material about them, or better yet, you can actually do something personally together with your role model. |

I am posting an old reply. Still valid. There are many, each one for different qualities. Gandhi - I do not agree with his whole philosophy but I have tremendous respect for his desire for truth, his tenacity to follow the right path, his shrewdness (he was a lawyer, through and through) and his simplicity. George Stephenson - The guy had absolutely nothing going in his favor. He used to work in coal mines, no school. He could not even read and write till he was 17. And he became the genius who was almost single handedly responsible for making railways a reality by building the first railway line in UK. Looking at his life, all my problems seem insignificant. Very inspirational. Tagore - For his vision, his amazing artistic talent and his compassion. Da vinci - He was super human. How can one man posses so many talents and excel in all of them? Rosa Parks - for doing what was right. |
