Yes, it is. Boy, I hate stink bugs. I guess I spiritually need to learn to accept to tolerate the...wait, I was talking about cars, wasn't I? Yes, I was.

So there we were, that darned 225 had dead ignition points. Go ahead: find 225 ignition points in the New Mexico desert on a Sunday.

If a thread is any good, IMO, it veers into semantics and picking apart logic.
I don't think that's off topic.

If I realized I was losing a debate with my mother, I'd win it with "It's all relative."

My girlfriend sees her second and third cousins. I barely see my first cousins.
One of my cousins could talk and talk.

I need to go to the post office today.

I wonder if any of your cousins will be at the post office drinking coffee or arguing with your mother. Hmmm. Maybe we'll all have coffee and ***** about the postage rates. Not likely, though; I gotta finish painting.

My Dodge p.u. has a 225 in it , I re built it a few years ago . From the factory it has that lean burn system in it . When I got it some one put a points dist. in it , one from maby late 60s or early 70s , I got tired of replaceing points every few months . When I rebuilt the motor I used a dist. from the late 70s that was electronic , its easy to wire up . Also I used a r.v. cam , and a 2 barl Holly carb. Thoes slant 6 s are tough motors . With the old points you can file or clean them with sand paper and get a few miles out of them , I know from lots of expereince. If you dont want to update your dist. carry a set of new points. desert rat

This was started by Royster , on ingition points . All gas powered motors newer than the mid 70s have electronic ingnition . The only 225 I know is Dodge's slant 6 225 . If Royster gets tired of playing with points , go to a wrecking yard and get a electronic dist. from the late 70s . Just be careful of that stupid plastic gear on the bottom of the dist. Its best to get a new gear and roll pin. When you are at the wrecking yard get 2 or more electronic controls and balist resisters ,and that pick up coil inside the dist. just to have on the sun. morning out in the desert.
Dodge ball is something differnt . desert rat

Default a different slant

DURN, desertrat, you sure know your stuff! I don't get to interact with many mechanics on any of the forums. Please know that i appreciate your knowledge.

But that's not the topic.

When Rush Limbaugh takes prescription drugs, does Ann Coulter know about it if she's in the Woods, or Tiger Woods is in HER?

Has she ever tuned up a 170 or 225 slant six, possibly to assault Rush Limbaugh? I'll ask The Great Zamboni.

You're just saying that because you don't like me.
Or do I type that here
The Extreme Emotional Sensitivity, Paranoia, and Taking Things Personally Thread
I'm confused.

I wonder how long the lines are at the post office.

Just because you're confused at the post office doesn't mean I don't like you. There are many parts of you I enjoy. In fact, you're sorter a smogasborg of great stuff, everywhere.

In lieu of that, I put coffee in my 225 slant six and my second-cousin thought it would be a good idea to carry extra points. So next time you get a chance, give me some Rep Points...for some reason, everyone wants them, although the Points Redemption Center seems to be out of commission right now. That's okay: I don't NEED any commission. When they are re-stocked with commission, I'll treat you to a cup of coffee. ALL of you, not just the good parts.

Coffee makes EVERYONE pee...
