I think I'd make a movie starring my past and present lovers. They are more beautiful than anything put up here, maybe cause I love them, maybe because they have a beautiful soul, maybe cause the popular definition of beauty is artificial anyway... |

She is certainly good looking, but it was just the way she moved and carried herself that had this European air of sophistication. Scarlett Johanson as Charlotte in Lost in Translation  Eva Green as Sibylla in Kingdom of Heaven  Sophie Marceau as Elektra King in The World is Not Enough   I left out a bunch of incredibly sexy French actresses because I didn't want the entire list to be Francais. Let's face it - no one can compete with French women in the category of sex appeal when it comes to acting. (Modelling is a different story) I wanted to list Emmanuelle Beart but she's basically too hot in ALL of her movies. I mentioned Scarlett in Lost in Translation because it's a great example of an attractive character - she actually downplays her physical attractiveness and heightens her attractive personality - which ultimately leads to a powerful and unforgettably sexy character. Eva Green is basically insanely gorgeous in all her movies. But putting her in Arabic makeup in Kingdom of Heaven heightened her exotic features. Her character represents desire in a lot of ways which leads me to include her as "sexiest character". Sophie Marceau embodies sex appeal in all of her movies in a way that only French women know how to do. But I think her role as Elaktra King gave her the platform to really demonstrate her psychological sophistication. Her character is simultaneously extremely powerful and extremely feminine, leading to extremely sexy. |
