The rain isn't beautiful today. How can the rain not be beautiful? I usually long for the noises and atmosphere that a rainstorm brings, a blanket of serenity and peace with the world. But today, on the commute home after work, it just felt miserable.

I'm not in a miserable mood. The rain is just miserable today.
