Default A gift for you all

Just thought I'd let you know, I've been thinking about sending presents to all my forum friends. Of course I couldn't do that though, that takes a lot of money (I wish I could!). So I was just going to write a personal letter to you all. Including SP especially cause it was nice of him to send me his book. So if we've chatted and befriended eachother on the forum please private message me your posting address!

I also have skype. Can you talk to people on skype overseas? It's video communication isn't it? If anyone was interested in that too....

I will have to do some work overcoming my social anxiety. I decided to go look you up on skype asap. But then I thought I would feel so sick with anxiety on a video chat. But then I thought, imagine it's just like talking to someone I know well like my bf, I'd just be like "hey! what you been up to?" etc lol

I used to go on webcam sometimes and I would be so perfectionistic about how I looked I would constantly look at the video feed of my self to make sure I looked good lol and would sit & pose in just the right position to make my self look the best. Wierd I know! I think I was terrified of looking "ugly"
So it's probably actually easier to talk to someone in real life than on a video chat, cause on a video chat I can see what I look like to the other person and usually, if I think I look ugly it makes me feel awful and like an "ugly person"

Maybe there is really something wrong with my perception of my self. Seeing other people as attractive but often seeing my self as ugly. I don't know.

Remember that no one looks as good in photos as they do IRL. Even for professional models, it takes a lot of effort to make them look good. Don't forget all the people who remind you how beautiful you are inside and out. You don't think they're wrong, do you?

One of these days, perhaps, you'll take a bold look inside of yourself and see what's causing that, where it came from, and perhaps see it for what it really is.

Hi Roxy,

I'd love working on my own anxiety regarding phones, skype and video chat... And of course I'd love talking to you as well!

I'll sent you a pm (also with my email address)

Love you!

I could possibly have the guts to be in a conference call if that's what it's called, with several persons. If an awkward silence lasts more than 10 seconds I'll start crying/laughing and faint, probably taken to the hospital. I also enjoy exaggerating. But I'm so young, it would be embarassing to let my parents know I'm talking to people from a "random forum". Maybe one time I'm fairly alone. I want to give you a gift too, some weirdo drawing or so. My posting address would be a bit inpractical, I don't feel like sharing my fascination for all this weirdness forum stuff with my parents. I can make a drawing based on the posts in the ridiculously long answer thread though, they have some funny moments

Yes I might start crying or faint from a panic attack too. Or have a long awkward silence. Like "I'm expected to talk RIGHT NOW aren't I! Not just whenever I am ready to click "post" Oh ♥♥♥♥♥!!" At least we're not alone. ^ ^

You could write a letter and scan it??

But... I'll sent you my home address

How are you doing with the organization of the skype calls? Wanna do a conference call? That way you don't have to worry about 1. video and 2. talking... there will be more people talking so less scary.

Yes yes, less scary! If I get the opportunity, I'm in! Would be really nice with a letter you know, but I just don't like the feeling of explaining my parents things like "Uhh just some.. random girl from some.. uhh forum that I'm on, she wanted to send letters to all her friends, perhaps better if you didn't read it.. NO it's not SECRET, just-" and so on, or things like that. They're acceptive of that kinda stuff, but still I don't wanna get into that I can't think of any better way at the moment..

It's not like they're *like that*, but I just don't get letters out of the blue either I'm the one who would be the weirdo if I didn't tell them anything about the letter at all, before or after reading it. It's not because of them, it's because of me. But ok, I've changed my mind, if they get the mail that one day, it doesn't matter, it's just me being nervous about telling them things about myself I've definitely changed my mind! I'll PM you my address

but you don't have to tell them? I don't tell my family about letters I recieve, especially if its from a friend (not that I recieve any personal letters in the mail though, its mostly just letters from my bank about my bank balance)

I don't have to tell them, but if they're the ones who bring in the mail and ask me, out of honest curiosity, I can tell them too, no prob

Hey there, Roxy,

Is it okay if I send you a PM as well? I mean, we're not actually befriended on the forums and all, but yeah (edit: Okay, now we are )
