I swear, I am the most active forum member of anyone. I constantly check forum threads and post. I usually become addicted and spend my whole days on the forum when I am *depressed *discouraged *dampened spirits and hopes *have given up *using the forums as an escape So I go into this state of "I don't care, whatever" and just post in the forums. |

So why don't we just train you to be the forum admin? Maybe pay you a little stipend for it. Then you'll have an easier time justifying what you're going to do anyway, make some money, and save Erin and me some time. We could change your title to "Forum Goddess" or "Forum Queen" -- whatever you'd like. Think of the POWER! Maybe you should be a mod for a while first... see if you like it. Sorry for your addiction btw. My bad! |

And then some more. Please, a cop suit (don't forget the police cap with "POLICE" printed on it), and then maybe you could make your boyfriend be the prisoner, handcuffed and all (white sweater with black stripes) and you're like "GOTCHA.. villain!" while looking straight into the camera with that "Who's next?" look, and then in your signature, you have the list of all forum members you have caught being slightly naughty, oh well no, maybe in some other dimension. But a picture fitting your title. In a funny way

I like this. Rather than trying to be or do something other than depressed, discouraged, dampened spirits and hopes, have given up, using the forums as an escape, off the forums, just be these things on the forums. Is this a piece of genius? |

but then I'd say "who cares what others think, sure I'm on here so much that some people think I'm an attention wh*** but, maybe something positive will come from it. be your self, even if it's different from other ppl. whatever. "

I really doubt you are here as much as I am Sure, I'm addicted to being here... as I am addicted to many good things in my life. And it's leading to great things, since I'm having breakthroughs. So I'm not yet ready for a 12 step program I am happy you are back though. I always enjoy your posts, doesn't matter if they are just fun (you are funny) or advice (you are a smart girl). |

Roxy, if you really want to get started on this path, drop me a PM, and we'll see about getting you in as a mod for starters. I'd need to run it past the other mods first -- hopefully they'll be okay with it. I wonder how many people you'll ban on your first day. Are you going to go all Joseph Stalin on people? Maybe this would be a good time for mass suicides. |

![]() Only the best will survive the six weeks. If you are one of the best you will go on to a secret training program for undercover mods. If so you will still be seen as a senior member but will in fact be an undercover mod specially trained to infiltrate threads that are suspected to be plotting coups and/or are sowing seeds of doubt and dissident against the incubent rulership among the peasants. You might have to get a new account and leave your former account behind. It is an ungrateful and hard job, and you won't be able to tell anyone or show off your rank and stature. But you will be doing the Cause a great service. We want YOU.

if i became a mod which forum section should I prowl? do I get to choose? I was thinking maybe either fun & rec or emotional mastery, I think those are the two I post in the most. I guess I must be an emotional, yet fun & recreational person LOL. I couldn't decide which one I would want to be a mod for. I probably have more laughter in fun & rec |

what tasks would a forum admin do? honestly I was trying to think.....nope couldn't imagine what the role of "forum admin" involves. Handling the moderators? Making decisions about banning people? I don't know

Well, if you spend that much time here, then being the roving mod for all areas would suit you best. In other news, no you're actually not the most active poster here. You post 5.61 posts per day compared to: James at 10.40 posts per day LTL who posts 10.86 posts per day Marinik who posts 10.47 posts per day Angela at 12.06 posts per day elucidate at 18.84 posts per day rei at 21.16 posts per day Just to name a few. Not to mention those that log in (or lurk) 24 hours and never post, ha ha. So don't feel so bad. Plus I understand your situation completely. The forums can be very addictive for superficial interaction -- or as an avoidance tool. |
