Lmao, I think ranting is better than venting! I feel much better afterwards, maybe because its not a specific person and dont have to worry about judgement.

My dog has to get a shot of Percoten V every month for his Addinson's disease. It comes in 4cc vials, and each shot is 2ccs, so I have to buy a vial of it every other month.

It did cost $150 per vial, but when I bought another one for him yesterday, it cost $227! That's slightly over a 50% increase.

At least the medication is helping him a lot. I don't call him "the world's most expensive free dog" for nothing! (he has to take 3 pills a day in addition to his shots).

I am doing a project for a class I am not interested in with members who haven't done much of anything and we started too late. But it's a f******* class that I really loathe. Nothing interesting is taught and I little is useful to me now or later and it required me to buy a very expensive tablet PC that is buggy as heck.

ERRRRRRGH. I want to get this semester OVER with and do classes I am actually very interested in besides the stuff I have to take.

Finally. For the first time in 5 years we are going on a holiday. Not to visit family or something, but just the 2 of us, Riviera Maya, hotel all inclusive and just 4 days of doing nothing, resting and just being together.

No phones. No internet. No xbox. No work.

I was so much looking forward to it.

Our last holiday that we were supposed to go on about a year and a half ago got canceled because of work from my husband.

And now... he just called me to tell me that he will have to take his laptop with him and work while we are there.

I don't care how important this is. I don't care that it also affects his bonus. I simply don't care. We were supposed to have our holiday!! It was supposed to be just him and me. Being together.

I don't want him to take his laptop, but I don't know how I can stop him...

A new book just came out this week which I'd like to get, it reprints Frankenstein comic book stories from the 1940s and '50s. I looked through it at the local comic shop yesterday, its a really nice book and I was surprised that its only priced at $22....but I've been spending a LOT lately, so I decided to wait until I checked its price on Amazon before I bought it. (I can usually get new books discounted at least 25% through Amazon).

I just checked on Amazon, and the prices for it range from $52 - $73 !!! It just came out a few days ago, and dealers are already jacking up its price 250% of its cover price??? That's crazy.

My comic shop only had one copy left yesterday, I hope its still there tomorrow...

Okay, Maui dancers, I get that we're hippies and all that. I know how to deal with the smell (what, there's no vegan deodorant?), and I don't actually mind putting a drop of essential oil under each nostril every time I dance. But the whole commando thing? NOT WORKING FOR ME. That flopping is really getting on my nerves, not to mention giving me a squicky feeling.

So, please, tighty whiteys. And TUCK.

Sheesh.
