 |  21 Dares
I am supposed to come up with 21 DARES, aka Acts of Courage, or challenges. Help me generate some ideas !!! So far i've got - ask a guy out (not done yet) - reverse bungee (done) - dance in public (done) - go to a nightspot alone - wear a strapless top. (aka tube top) - go to a beach and relax by myself and read a book (um, i would need some push and ideas to become socially or emotionally more open, and assertiveness. so help !!) Go up to any guy in a bar and ask him to buy you a drink. (You just have to stay with him long enough to drink it.) Knock on 3 neighbors' doors and introduce yourself. Go shopping at a convenience store and sing one verse of any song loud enough for everyone to hear it. Mail anonymous valentines to 10 people you know in July. |

You're already way ahead of me  Ok, small things that are out of MY comfort zone and that you might or might not find embarassing as well: While out for a walk, you can't decide whether you wanna go over the road and into the shop on the other side. But stopping right up just to think through it would look ridiculous. You spend so much time thinking whether you should do it or not, that you pass the passenger field and just keep on walking past it. Then you feel a tiniest regret, but turning right back and walking back over the road behind you in PUBLIC while cars!! cars and passengers watching and observing you, it would be so embarassing. Challenge: ignore their subtle reaction and head back those few meters and cross the road and into the shop! I would blush my eyebrows off, dunno if you mind things like these You don't have to list it specifically, just an inspiration.

Go into a clothing store and ask the staff to help you with something they think will look good on you, and try it on. Smile and say hi to strangers on the street. Get a massage from a professional (but it has to be a guy, although the setting will be 100% professional). Go to a nearby park on the next sunny day and just sit and watch the people Go out to eat in a restaurant alone (bring a book  )Hope this helps! |

(4/10) Go to a nearby park on the next sunny day and just sit and watch the people => 1/10 (i do that at the park next to my home when i feel down) Go out to eat in a restaurant alone (bring a book )=> 0/10 i do this all the time, when i feel the need to de-stress. sometimes i even surf a laptop while dining , instead of book.
