Because forum description contains keyword games I though I'll ask you for some help here. We do create games and just soft launched our latest game - Runes of Avalon. I could ask for help at developers forums, but they could focues on tech side of it instead of fun factor

Runes of Avalon is a puzzle game with a twist / match-3 mechanic that you have yet to see. This is our third game and so far the best one. We put enormous amount of fun, high quality art and mystic music in it. Original, intriguing and beautifuly ilustraded and voice acted story will easily put you in a mood for quest for Avalon. Any one have any ideas on if this works on Vista or when the linux version will be out?

I only have computers with linux or the Vista OS.

However, i think i need a mac loptop

It's a game I'm glad I only have limited play time on because I could spend waaaaaaaaay too much time playing. Very fun game.

Adrienne, the game should work on Vista without any problems - at least noone reported any issues.

I tried it. Interesting game. enough variation that it does not get boring. The game has good help and a semi interesting story line... its one of those games you gets additive but for me a level or 2 (about 5 to 8 minutes) was enough for me at one time.

I had no issues loading it on vista.

Why does your program want to connect to the internet when it starts?

If you're referring to Runes of Avalon 1 it should not connect to internet, at least we did not do it on purpoes... unless you're talking about Runes of Avalon 2, which may try to connect to internet when you click on "ok" for "Do you want to leave feedback" question.

The exe you linked to in this thread tries to connect to the internet or at least asks my firewall to do so.

Connecting to the interenet, may be something contained in DX? Am sure I heard something to that effect on the indiegamer forms?

Hi Roman, I'm new here. Have been enchanted and frustrated with the Runes of Avalon 1 game. I don't seem to be able to advance past level 15. Today I scored 21,075 points on that level and still stuck there. When I went to the help box, it gave help for level 7. What's up with that? Also, I have done a back and forth with the support folks at Hoyle Puzzles to no avail. Is there a way to bypass that level and get on with it?

Hi Bernz,
It looks like you are playing the level with Giant Rune. This is special kind of level where your goal is not to fill the vials, but collect Giant Rune. To do that you need to place 2x2 sets of runes of same color as giant rune on each of it's sides (just like the help shows and just like you did before).

The newest version of Runes has skip level option, though it is not included in Hoyle Puzzles.

We also released Runes of Avalon 2. It has better tutorials and skip level option build in from the beginning
