I have thought of this concept and wondered if it has ever been done before? It would be so cool to follow a bunch of clueless recruits through their basic training, or even longer, and see all the crazy stuff they have to do and put up with. One might not even have to invent much to add to it, it might be enough there for funny stuff to happen. Watching them learning to shoot, exercising, learning discipline, making their beds, cleaning their rooms, be under outrageus scrutiny by their commanders, getting yelled at for having a straw of hair on their bed or because the shower that they were meant to clean is wet, wouldn't that be awesome!? (if it hasn't been done before) It is so much to take from it already, it would be an easy thing to assemble creatively. The only question is if the military would allow it. Maybe they don't want public footage of their training... |
