I already posted this a bit ago in the inappropriate section, but lets say you want to raise your energy or happiness or want to get fat, use these recipes. Die happy, fat, and saying yummy. (Actually eating foods like this are only a craving that cause suffering, but still. Suffering is the only path to enlightenment!) I will start: Default Amazing APPLE CRUMBLE!! Now for a nice dose of serious to make this thread even more inapprops. Today I had an apple crumble pie... It was to die for and really not that hard to make Preheat oven to 350 F/180C Step 1: Take about 8 green apples, peel them remove their cores and cut them into at least 8 slices each. Spread the apples into about 2 layers of apple slices on a 9"x12" glass pan. Apples should cover 2-3 inches from the bottom. Step 2: Mix about 2 table spoons of cinnamon with about 90 grams of white sugar. Pour this as evenly as possible over the apples along with a fifth cup of lemon (only to make sure the apples don't brown). Step 3: Take 50 g quickoatmeal (Quaker) and 180 g of brown sugar 150 grams of flour and 140 grams of butter cut into small (pinky sized cubes). Mix them with your hand or with a blender until there is no free-floating dry substances (flour, sugar, oatmeal) ... Pour this crumble topping over the cake evenly and thickly Place in oven for about 1 hour then let sit in the oven for a while (say have dinner during this time) then eat it for desert The apples should turn apple sauce-like and the top should be amazing add vanilla ice cream if you want. It's amazing |

Damn it and I translated the original from those cups and stuff to grams lol 250grams is a cup... 3/8 cup = 85 grams of sugar (its sugar... lets go with half a cup 5/8 cup = 140 grams of butter 7/8 cup = 175 grams of brown sugar (so a little bit more than that let's go with a cup 1 cup = 110 grams +1/3 cup = 40 grams =1+1/3 cups for 150grams a bit less than half a cup of quaker oats Again spread the thin apple slices evenly over the bottom of the pan pour lemon juice then sugar+cinammon (2 tablespoons) then mix the butter with the brownsugar and quaker oats its supposed to make lumpy uniform kind of stuff (I mixed it with my hands mashing it together but it gets messy, prolly better with a mixing bowl) until you cant see just pure lumps of butter. then pour this over the top and put it in the oven |
