We'll always have The Rat Hole. We don't delete forum accounts since that would corrupt the archives. If you wish to stop participating, you can simply log out from your account and stop using it. Take care. The End Last edited by royster; 03-20-2010 at 11:56 AM.

Actually, it appears this is a lot like a Roach motel; you can check in, but you can't check OUT. It's the only place I've ever heard of that you can only get out on BAD behavior. Thought I'd stop by and leave a hug. |

Hoo-HAH: At least i don't manifest spaghetti, like Jon Tore. He looks like a Ronco invention. Call before midnight! Operators are standing Bi. (Perhaps they're hetero when they sit down). Haven't spent much time here in the old haunt...I aughta look around and see what's goin' on. I realise I announced that I was leaving the forum. here's news for you all; we're STUCK here unless we get banned. You can't delete your account. Ahhhh well. So make the most of it. Make spaghetti. |

Catch 22, if you are sane enough to want to leave you are sane enough to live here for the rest of you natural life on in some cases your unnatural life. I am pleased that you have come to your senses and embraced the inevitability of your membership here.

Thanks Gene, you're just sweet. Well I'm not about to go get myself banned on purpose, so as you said, just accept I can't delete the account, and make the most of it. I didn't feel I fit here completely, and I wasn't about to compete with the diversity of opinion on other boards, so i simply went on about my life. Some interesting events occurred on my home forum, and my board was regenerated...morphed...into a better board. I have a lot of work to do on it, so that consumes some time, plus I'm in the thick of my busy season. But coming out here to laugh with you all was a joy and therapy, much like Shasah, and we all managed to get through the roughest winter in 14 years together. Good golly, I met a lot of respectable persons here. Appropriate to The Breakfast Club, I'm sipping some coffee at 6:45 AM, getting ready for a 90-mile day drive towards Wax Frog's neighborhood. I have a jam-packed Spring of activity, not the least of which is my every-three-month trip to L.A. to visit my mother in late April. I mow 6 acres of grass here in Shenandoah, and right now you can watch it grow. The "Fun And Recreation" thread has sure been busy, and I see Mounds died. Thanks for your kindness, and I'll get here when i can. Incidently, RoxyRuby, good one in "Provide A Caption". A very blessed Easter. I actually resurrected my van, today, by putting a new battery in it. Mowed grass. Changed the oil in my truck. Pet my cat. Had supper at Janice's. Counted my blessings. As you can see, life WILL go on. Last edited by royster; 04-05-2010 at 01:28 AM. |

Hey, Shasah...I'm certain i saw you at the Atlanta airport...except you were carrying a bunch of plastic bags and had 7 cats with you. 3 of them were in the shopping cart. |

Nope, mustv'e been one of my doppelgangers. I seem to have a few. They are the ones that do the weird things and the bad things. After all, I am perfect and would never stoop so low as to do weird or bad things LOL. Good to hear from you Royster!!

Likewise, Sue. It's been very dry here in Virginia, and the grass is dying. I was going to participate in playswithlife's "mowed the lawn" thread, but I HAVEN'T since before I left for California. I've been back over a week, now. (If PWL happens to read this, I love mowing the 4 acres on my riding mower). I've been tending my pathetic garden and sprucing up my bichun truck, spending some precious time on myself before the treadmill starts up again next week. While I haven't been inspired to work on music lately, the keyboard and flute are over there calling me. I just bought a new R.E.M. cd and have been singing loudly while I drive. I'm getting good at singing "Losing my Religion" and "Man On The Moon". My vocal range is somewhere between jim Morrison and Michael Stipe. It feels good to sing out loud like that. Beethoven meows his best to you, Shasah. Hope De Ja Vu and Chaos are doing well. |

I'm so sad for you that the goggies moved. Maybe you could use the avatar you have of them. WOW, you sure have moved along. It says a lot about this forum, those who come here DO get answers, and I've seen most member's lives improve...mine certainly did, and I cannot dismiss the influence of this forum for that end. Thanks to all. Seems like a few weeks ago I was posting here about shoveling snow. Certainly the forum was here for me when the world was cut off from me. And Shasah, you were the brightest part of that experience; my thanks to you. I'll try not to be such a stranger. |
