In case you pop in for lunch: HI! Overcast day outside, so I'm staying INSIDE. Gonna move some furniture around (Feng Shui, again) which means moving out of my present bedroom into another one, upstairs. (Yes, the Beloved Rat Hole no longer accomodates smelly ol' cabin dweller and his cat). It's advised to move away from the year's affliction area, which is S-W this year of the Tiger. So me n' muh cat will snooze in the north room, which is good, 'cause that's where my only air conditioner is. "Change I can believe in"; New 'quarters' [Three Stooges joke: "Gentlemen, here are your quarters." "Oh boy! Two bits each!"] |

For your dignity, I suggest "The RatHole Institute". Keeps your guests guessing. I've always enjoyed changing the furniure arrangement from time to time...Gemini's thrive on variety. But since I learned Feng Shui, it's a yearly necessity. It definately works for me. Lot's of INTENTION goes into it, plus covering yer BUTT. People have been using it for 3,000 years or more. You can't say THAT about ANYTHING ELSE in America...welll....good, anyway.

I have my first photography lesson Saturday, I can't wait!! Using 35mm at this time, so we'll see how long it takes me to get them developed LOL. I'll have to think of a better name for the apt, anything to do with rats is OUT!! After all, I'm a dragon

You will absolutely LOVE photography. I had a 35 MM camera and loved it dearly. While digital gives you immediate gratification, something about the whole photographic process is wonderful. Name for your apartment? "My Place". And blessings TO your place.

How is the Royster today? Good day at work if moving a little slowly, and weekend is shaping up quite nicely. Don't know where I'll find the time to meditate, but I will. Maybe if I just stayed off the computer for a little while, I'd be good LOL. Hope things are going your way!! Later...

We finally had a sunny day with temperatures in the mid-40's. i was out and about soaking it up. Looking forward to a seasonably NICE week end. I might even try barbequing some beans, though they tend to fall through the grate and smoulder on the charcoals. Did you know "Barbeque" means "from whiskers to tail"? |

Is that what gave you the definitions idea LOL. I tried emailing you but I got a failure notice back?? My email was putting things in the que and then sending them all to me at one time. So 94 emails that I should have gotten over the week all dumped at the same time. And then there's still the missing week. My Mom and Dad were wondering why I haven't opened any of their emails. I don't think they believe that I never got them Anyway, first cup of coffee on its way. Hope you enjoy yours and your day. Take care. |

My e-mail is working. No, "definitions" is word play I've long enjoyed. Yours was a good 'un! I once signed up with an "Indigo Child" group...about 3 years ago. I went off to one of my work stints, and came home to 736 e-mails, few of which I was interested in. I have never joined a group since, and won't. Been up since 4:30...that's just the timing cycle I'm in right now. So I'm a pot of coffee ahead of you. |

I used to post definitions on FB but some people think FB is only for dinner plans or an exhaustive list of what they are doing today. I'm glad they can plan out their bowel movements, but do I really want to know that LOL. I think I'll go back to it though (posting weird definitions, not posting BM) I'm sure I can even out the coffee stakes pretty quickly. Ready, set, go.... Have a great day Royster. TTYL |

Thanks, Shasah. I hope yours' is a good day full of blessings and sloppy-dog-kisses! I'll be doing a variety of tasks, not the least of which is gathering some firewood, now that I can see terra cotta again. Peace, Cat. |

Hello Shasah...I see you're on the boards this beautiful Sunday morning. I have a pleasant drive to Alexandria to give an estimate on a job request. It should be a wonderful excursion with the weather we have today; sunny and 55 degrees. Then I come home tonight. The next two days will be running the chain saw to clear fallen cedar trees before the project begins. (It means I'll be off-line for a while after Wednesday). We are hoping to see some of your photos soon! |

Sounds like you are planning on enjoying your day and considering that you're self-employed, a new job is always a thing to look forward to. Keeps you busy, yes? Went to Callaway Gardens yesterday and even though the flowers are not yet in bloom, it was gorgeous!! Can't wait for 2-3 more weeks when the flowers start really coming out. And hopefully by then, I'll know enough about photography to get some good pics.

Well it's safe to say that whatever terrible energies were around about 4-5 weeks ago has left, and we're all in better places, now. Yes, being self-employed is iffy at times. But I know my clients, and I also know Spring is the time they want me in their homes, blowing out the old winter energies! The 'plus' is that this client and I have worked together for years, and it's always a joy. That, and they're always interesting projects. And (blush) the money's good. (I CERTAINLY can use that right about now!) I sent out an e-mail to all my clients recently. Just before all that snow...I had a painting project locally. It was held up for two weeks because of the snowfall. The NAME of the Sherwin Williams color the client chose? "SNOWBOUND". |

I would like to express gratitude for the many members here who "ran" with me during my stay here. There are some real treasures among you, and I hope they get the recognition and respect they deserve. I am leaving the forum...it's too mainstream for me...and I do so with an amiable smile and an experience that has served me well. My account will be left open for a few days to allow those who wish to contact me for post-forum communications. I will then delete my account. Thanks again to all who made this a memorable journey. I'm in a remote location, so I don't have my home computer. I think they send you an e-mail about deleting your account. The note from your mother is optional. They're assuming "the droids we're looking for" have mothers.
