Well, I was having a less than euphoric day so far, and I thought I'd ask for help in cheering me down...yes, not up: down!

Go give me all those fake compliments and cheer phrases that sounds as though they're intended to support, but in fact only serve to secretly criticise!

That's right, give it to me!

You'll probably get lots of questions about why you want to be cheered down.
I've read quite a bit of John Demartini's work and he talks about finding teh perfect balance between being puffed up and putting yourself in the pit. I get where you are coming from.

However I'm not sure how to go about it? Damning with faint praise isn't a skill I've worked on.

Actually, I have a weird sense of humor, and I loved the thought of seeing what people would come up with.

TBH, I was about to post "Cheer me up!" first, but then thought...hey, this would be a nice twist. Let's see what happens!

As long as there's humor (and irony), there is no pit that I can't claw my way back out of, anyway.

That's the most logical thing to put first before your dreams and goals. Cheer up though, it's normal for most humans to have a hard life buddy!
