just some beautiful equations to enjoy,

1*1=1
11*11=121
111*111=12321
1111*1111=1234321
11111*11111=123454321
111111*111111=12345654321
1111111*1111111=1234567654321
11111111*11111111=123456787654321
111111111*111111111=12345678987654321

(1+2+1)*121=22^2
(1+2+3+2+1)*12321=333^2
(1+2+3+4+3+2+1)*1234321=4444^2
(1+2+3+4+5+4+3+2+1)*123454321=55555^2
(1+2+3+4+5+6+5+4+3+2+1)*12345654321=666666^2
(1+2+3+4+5+6+7+6+5+4+3+2+1)*1234567654321=7777777^ 2
(1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1)*123456787654321=88 888888^2
(1+2+3+4+5+6+7+8+9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1)*12345678987654 321=999999999^2

I enjoyed your blog today, Alec. "Drink More Water" Wow, groundbreaking work there. Keep up the innovative work. Over time, you may even help some of us delusional folks who sit around kidding ourselves.

Thanks for the encouraging words TheColonel. It is amazing how such simple ideas can unblock an avalanche of personal effectiveness.

Who here has heard of phi? Phi is the golden ratio - in other words the (square root of 5 + 1)/ 2. If you square it you get Phi + 1. And if you divide it into 1, you get Phi - 1.

It's quite a beautiful number, particularly in geometry where it creates what is often regarded as the perfect rectangle.
