Default New Year's Resolutions
With the New Year fast approaching, I thought it might be fun to share our resolutions for 2010. I don't know about you, but I'm looking forward to positive change and a new year!

In 2010 I resolve to:

Get a really lovely new place to live;
buy a bicycle and ride it everywhere;
learn how to play guitar;
write some amazing poetry and short fiction;
learn how to surf;
take better care of my health;
pay off my debts;
be kinder to myself.

I haven't distinguished resolutions or goals yet -- maybe I'll work on that this weekend -- but my new list of Heart's Desires, out of which specific resolutions and goals will be inspired, is:

When my life is ideal, I am….

For the new year, I resolve to:

*Be consistent in my training to achieve my green belt in Shizen Ryu.
*Manifest a wonderful new living space of my own that is affordable, spacious, safe and comfortable in a great new location.
*Complete the course I am almost halfway through to become a competent Teacher of English for students both here and overseas...and maybe advertise for private lessons here before I travel O/S
*Start seriously saving money for this adventure of a lifetime
*Fall in love with someone special and luscious who respects and honours me.(When the time is right...and for both our highest good.)
*Practise the Cello more.
*Keep writing short stories and start really looking into what it will cost to self-publish the childrens book I have created.
*Get my provisional license.
*Buy a new camera and take up photography again.

*I may add more to this as I think of them?

Be more kind and patient with those I love (including myself).
Write more.
Finally bite the bullet and make a life with the man I love.
Work harder.
Take better care of my health.
Show more respect to those I truly DO respect.
Listen, learn and grow.

2010 resolutions;

-I improve my art sales by 50%-100% of 2009s sales
-I save up money for another sideline e-commerce business
-I have a plan for saving for South America (maybe 2011 after the rugby world cup or early 2012 or something)
-I see lots of live music
-I go to lots of parties
-I live in the now
-I keep my weight down
-I read many new books
-I stay open, and positive
-I make the most of the time I have in 2010

Hope that covers everything..
