Note to traumatized peeps - the pic is from the web, not ltl's living room. And it looks like the scratches are from a primate! Wow, no wonder they say not to keep pet monkeys!

no this is not my real pic I tried to find one that was the most similar to my wounds but do not be mistaken a regular cat can do this ! I had cuts that really looked like that and the scars to prove it she grabbed a hold of my left hand and upper arm and basically tore into it I had to have 20 stitches ! she was scared of the blender and I tried to remove her from the noise my mistake !! but I still love her it was not her fault

Lol it IS bad when they die, so be prepared. In my experience, cats are far less maitenance, whereas dogs require a little more time/effort/coddling. That's always been what I ask myself first: How much quality time do I have to share? If you don't have too much, a cat would be better. Again, that's just in my experience.

I like both dogs and cats, AND pandas. Even though I'm allergic! Someone said cats are among the only animal species that can see into several dimensions, not sure if that's true or not, but in some reality it is, which is cool. I guess that's why Eckhart Tolle likes em.
